In my professional opinion as a software test engineer, the ball is in Corel's court. The obvious-to-me problem is the dialog box that should appear can not appear without crashing PSP, but if you Shift+File|Print, you bypass the Tab Control message (whatever that's all about) and the jumbled dialog box, thereby avoiding the crash.

The point is that PSP 2018 64-bit CAN PRINT without error. My landscape image printed in portrait orientation and didn't fit width-wise, so you can guess as well as I can what settings it printed with. It just took off printing with who knows what settings. No Tab Control message, but also no print dialog box in which to do page layout before printing. Lo and behold, PSP printed to my HP IMMEDIATELY.
Then, just out of frustration and trying anything I could think of, I held down my left Shift key while I clicked File|Print. Just on a hunch, I made sure to try both Ctrl+P and clicking File|Print with the mouse to see if there was any difference, since I hadn't seen that mentioned. That was a success, as several here have already said. I installed the 32-bit version of PSP so I could try printing from there. When I recently dumped that and went back to HP, a PHOTO ENVY 7855 to be exact, I immediately started seeing the Tab Control with bonus crash issue and found this board. I, too, have printed from PaintShop Pro 2018 Ultimate 64-bit to a Canon printer for a while without any problem. Background first, then my little "find," if you can call it that.
I had to join just to add something I've not seen mentioned yet. It would help if people were a bit more discerning. But has recently shown that he has had the same issue with images saved with his other editor Photoline. pspimage thumbnails not showing in Windows explorer, which many posters were blaming on PSP. That's not the best evidence of the cause, nor is it the best way approach troubleshooting a sudden issue. People are too quick to blame one program whenwhen they have an issue just because it only seems to happen with that one program. When, as in this and other issues I have followed, it affects a small minority of users, then it can't simply be a PSP issue. When an issue affects a good many of the many thousands of PSP users, then it's worth Corel looking into. However, IMHO that still points to driver/OS/system specific issues, rather than it being a PSP specific issue. Having followed the threads with these complaints for some time I can say that at least some have mentioned their printer types and manufacturers, and those few aren't always the same.
